Celebrated burlesque stripper, dancer, model and kind of actress, it’s quite unbelievable that I didn’t post a little something about that legend. Interestingly, my not very loquacious dad once admitted to me that he saw her perform in Montreal in the early fifties, quite an admission!. Lili was a favorite in town, much to the chagrin of Catholic groups, who all were very influential at the time. In fact, she was once arrested right here in town for obscenity or whatever. She was acquitted but things would never be quite the same in local nightlife. Still, she wrote in her autobiography that Montreal had always remained one of her favorite places.

This is it, the 2009 update of the Vampires Cult Sirens project! New models! Continuing storyline! Awesome exterior shots! What’s not to like? I’ll keep this more alive (pardon the word) in the weeks to come!

Emily Blunt sure looks scared… is she worried that this film could be once again released at a further date? Oddly, this looks promising and maybe its potential success could lead to other worthy remakes of the old Universal classics.
