Now we started a good thing with that Model Spotlight thing… so it’s with great pleasure that we propose today another astonishingly beautiful and talented young lady, the unique Madelyn Rivera! This time, we even did a short interview to discover more about this distinguished guest:

1- For how long have you been modeling and what got you started in the business?

I have been modeling since the age of about thirteen. I was shopping with some friends and a photographer asked to take a headshot, we started working together then.

2- Since you’re based in NYC, do you feel that there’s a lot of competition? How can one stay on top of the game?

I don’t look at the concept of competition as many do, I believe that I’m an awesome model, very experienced and my time will come regardless what happens in one casting. I have such a passion for this sport that I always humble myself, I never worry because I know I shut down once I get in front of that camera. To me it’s not about who’s better, it’s about “Okay I came to this shoot out, there’s a make up artist, let me give it my all so we could go home happy”. Not “Oh I have to pose better then her”. You must know that in the I Kandi world there’s nothing but women with assets and cute faces, if you want to stay on top, stay on top of your body and take good care of your face. Always strive for that little or no Photoshop done.

3- So is it true that you have singing skills as well? Do you perform regularly?

I sing a little, I know if that was something I wanted to pursue badly, I would just take classes and practice.

4- So is there really an official website under construction? What would be your goals with it?

Yes, I have something up in the meantime. But I will have a paid members site that will be updated once or twice a week, so get excited. I want to sell calendars, posters, build up a fan base and make money doing what I love to do.

5- Is there a photographic theme that you didn’t explore yet but are still intrigued to do?

Yes, there’s always new concepts I want to try, but I must do them first. I don’t want anyone to steal my idea.

6- Any dream location around the world that you would like to work at?

Spain

7- Where do you see yourself, career-wise, in about five years from now?

Making money, whether it be helping models better themselves or me acting.

I had the distinct pleasure of making a new friend this week, the gorgeous & talented Miss Aimee Rena. Since I like to spotlight new models discovered on Model Mayhem, I’m going to let you admire her profile there… but for the curious here are some shots that I’m sure you’ll agree are quite sensational!

Since Montreal will soon be taken by storm by the FanTasia International Film Festival, we thought that it would be amusing to feature a couple of our favorite Siren models in a vampire/manga confrontation. So enjoy this memorable encounter between different universes!

Since we launched our own pin-up site recently, we were also very pleased to discover the lovely Kumiko Ming, a very ambitious young model. Hers is the kind of portfolio that we just adore. You see, a girl her size is not the typical type that you can see walking around on international runways. But still, she is ready to break some barriers and enjoy the kind of career that she deserves. Well, she has gained our support, as we always felt that beauty & talent comes in many shapes, colors and sizes… Her positive determination is quite inspiring, actually, so we took the only logical decision and named her Honorary Siren!

Of all the people I got in touch with these past few months, one of my favorite model remains Dawn Like the Sunrise, met on Model Mayhem (you all know that Cult Sirens has a MM page, don’t you?).

In my view, she has the most perfect body that I’ve seen in a long while… and the truth of the matter is, she is an incredibly friendly person, too! (And what about those eyes?)
