Celebrated burlesque stripper, dancer, model and kind of actress, it’s quite unbelievable that I didn’t post a little something about that legend. Interestingly, my not very loquacious dad once admitted to me that he saw her perform in Montreal in the early fifties, quite an admission!. Lili was a favorite in town, much to the chagrin of Catholic groups, who all were very influential at the time. In fact, she was once arrested right here in town for obscenity or whatever. She was acquitted but things would never be quite the same in local nightlife. Still, she wrote in her autobiography that Montreal had always remained one of her favorite places.

This is it, the 2009 update of the Vampires Cult Sirens project! New models! Continuing storyline! Awesome exterior shots! What’s not to like? I’ll keep this more alive (pardon the word) in the weeks to come!

Emily Blunt sure looks scared… is she worried that this film could be once again released at a further date? Oddly, this looks promising and maybe its potential success could lead to other worthy remakes of the old Universal classics.

Well, believe it or not, there was a 2006 film (The Pet) that kinda gives the same feeling seen in the promo for the 1974 Pets. Of course, the first one starred the amazing Candice Rialson, to whom I should devote a Sirens space very soon. Ah, the depravity of Man…

I still can’t believe what Anastasia wrote me recently: “I only do this as a hobby”. Whoaaa! She puts many so-called professionals to shame with this incredibly beautiful portfolio. Not only is she out-of-this-world gorgeous, she is an extremely nice person to correspond with.

I am stunned that there’s so much talent out there, some known, others not so well-known yet, that it’s becoming one of my many missions to spread the good word and share these discoveries with the entire world.
